At Thamesbridge School, Key Stage 4 covers Years 9 to 11, with pupils beginning their GCSE journey in Year 9. This early start gives students more time to develop subject knowledge, refine exam skills, and build confidence ahead of their final examinations.
Our GCSE stage (Years 9–11) focuses on academic rigour, with pupils studying a balanced range of core and optional subjects. Each subject is taught through live, interactive online lessons, homework assignments, and regular teacher feedback. This structure allows students to consolidate their learning, track their progress, and work towards achieving strong results in their final examinations.
With dedicated teachers, we ensure every student receives the guidance and support they need to excel academically and develop the confidence to progress to further study, sixth form, or vocational pathways.
By the end of KS4, pupils are well-prepared to achieve strong results in their GCSEs and progress confidently to sixth form, college, or vocational pathways.
NB: All our GCSEs/iGCSEs follow the Edexcel (Pearson) specification.
